Dear Johnathan Academy Community,
We are thrilled to announce that the notifications for the 2024 AIME (American Invitational Mathematics Examination) participation and exam times have been sent out. Emails have been dispatched from ContestJA@cseec.ca to all qualifying students.
First and foremost, congratulations to all our students who have earned the opportunity to participate in this prestigious competition. Your hard work and dedication to mathematics have truly paid off, and you stand as a testament to the academic excellence at Johnathan Academy.
Key Details:
Qualification: Students who have excelled in the AMC (American Mathematics Competition) have been selected.
Exam Date: Thursday, February 1, 2024, from 11:30 AM – 2:30 PM (PST)
Preparation: The AIME is a 15-question, 3-hour examination, in which each answer is an integer number between 0 to 999. The questions on the AIME are much more difficult than those on the AMC 10 and AMC 12. Top-scoring participants on the AIME are invited to take the USAMO or USAJMO.
This is a significant achievement, not just for the students but for our entire academic community. Participating in the AIME is an opportunity to challenge oneself, to grow, and to be recognized on a national level.
For any queries or further information, please reach out to us at ContestJA@cseec.ca. Let's continue to support our students in their journey towards academic excellence.
Wishing all our participants the very best!
