Everything You Need to Know About Taking Your 2025 AP Exams at Johnathan Academy

Dear AP Exam Candidates,
Welcome to Johnathan Academy Secondary School as your exam school for the current year's AP Exam.
Important:
It is the student's responsibility to keep updated with AP announcements and directions. Therefore, it is essential to provide an accurate email address for communication purposes.
All exam and testing site reminder information will only be sent to the student's email address registered in 'My AP'.
Students must know their College Board login credentials. Exam staff cannot provide login support on exam day.
This year, most AP exams will be taken using BlueBook. You can download and test it using the link below. Please make sure to complete the setup and testing in advance to avoid any issues on exam day.
On exam day, you are permitted to bring a device that meets the College Board's requirements into the testing room. It is your responsibility to ensure that the device has sufficient battery life to last at least three hours for the duration of the exam.
Our school will also set up charging stations to help ensure the smooth conduct of the exam.
We will send a reminder email (student's email address registered in 'My AP') to you before the exam day. Please check the email address on your AP account to double-check if your exam is on the Main Campus (4th floor) or Exam Campus.
Please carefully review the following items before taking the exam.
1. How do I get to school (Johnathan Academy) on exam day?
Main Campus

Address: 5750 Oak St, Vancouver, BC V6M 2v9
The school entrance is located at the southeast corner of OAK and 41st Street.
The campus elevators will not be available to students during the exam period. Please use the stairs.
Drop-off: Parents can choose to drop off their students in front of the school on either 41st Street or Oak Street. Please note that the underground parking lot is for temporary drop-off use only. The entrances to the school's underground parking lot are located on the south side of 41st Street and the east side of Oak Street, both approximately 50 meters from the intersection of 41st Street and Oak.
Bus: If students take the bus to attend the exam, they can take bus R4 or Route 17 and get off at the Oak St @ W 41 Ave stop to reach the school.
The following exams will take place at the Main Campus.
May 5–9 and May 12–16
Human Geography, United States Government and Politics, English Literature and Composition, Computer Science A, World History: Modern, United States History, Chinese Language and Culture, Music Theory, French Language and Culture, Pre-calculus, Physics 2: Algebra-Based, English Language and Composition, Physics C: Mechanics, Art History, Computer Science Principles, Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism
May 19–23
European History, Chemistry, Human Geography, Computer Science A, Japanese Language and Culture, United States History, Chinese Language and Culture, Music Theory, English Language and Composition, Comparative Government and Politics
Exam Campus

The entrance to the examination venue is located at the back of the building, facing east.
Drop-off: Parents are welcome to park briefly on either side of the driveway. We kindly ask that you do not block the road.
Bus: If students take the bus to attend the exam, they can take bus R4 or Route 17 and get off at the Oak St @ W 41 Ave stop to reach the exam area.
The following exams will take place at the Exam Campus.
May 5–9 and May 12–16
Biology, Microeconomics, Chemistry, Statistics, Macroeconomics, Calculus AB, Calculus BC, Physics 1: Algebra-Based, Psychology.
May 19–23
Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Calculus AB, Calculus BC, Physics 1: Algebra-Based, Psychology.
2. Exam Check-in.
Entry to the examination room is granted 15-20 minutes before the start time, with morning sessions beginning entry at about 7:40 am and afternoon sessions at 11:45 am. Early arrivers should wait outside, and only students are permitted entry to the building.
On Exam Day:
Students must arrive no later than 15 minutes before their exam is scheduled.
Bring a government-issued photo ID (e.g., Driver’s License, Passport, Canadian Citizenship Certificate, or Permanent Resident Card).
Students without a government-issued photo ID will not be allowed to take the exam.
No personal electronic devices are permitted in the exam room, except for approved calculators and the exam laptop.
Latecomers will not be admitted.
